Senior Engineer Thomas Lahee and engineers first class Lisa Bedreaux and Ahmed B'nmar duck back behind a fallen stone. A monstrous gout of flame shoots over their heads. Thomas looks at his hand held fire extinguisher like it is a toy. Fear creeps around the edges of Lisa and Ahmed's eyes. Thomas screams into the microphone of his headset.

			THOMAS
	Are you listening to me control!  This is not a campfire
	this is a full blown tunnel fire and it's sucking oxygen from
	corridor zero.

Thomas clutches the ear piece of the headset and jams it closer to his 
ear.  It is hard to hear over the roar of the conflagration.

			THOMAS
	I don't give a shit what your fucking charts say!
	It is being fueled by something back in the tunnel.
	A lot of something.  I need a fire team up hear now!
	We're pulling out!  Do you hear me we are pulling out!

There is the faint jabbering of someone over the headset.  Another
rush of flame shoots over the heads of the threesome.  Lisa screams.

			THOMAS
	Fuck them!  Let's get out of here.

The three crawl on their hands and knees out of the barbecue.
