Danial P. Jenkins's Personal Diary

I attended Lester Donovan's funeral today. It was very sad. They're keeping this entire affair very quiet. No one from the media was present, and there's been nothing on the news.

There were a few people there I didn't recognize and some there I wish I hadn't recognized.

They actually invited that cretin Ironwood. I can't believe that man was allowed to attend the ceremoney although I've heard he's been assigned this case by Stryker. Stryker must have a severe labour shortage.

They began the search for Lester's replacement. He's going to be a tough act to follow. The man knew how to get the best person for the job, and he was ever intuitive when it came to enlightened policy.

On a happier note, I watched my granddaughter take her first steps today. The look on Martha's face was precious. My daughter Mary was dumbfounded to say the least. Even Adrienne seemed to lighten up. My little girl is in that rebellious phase. All right, maybe nineteen isn't all that young, but she's my youngest and will always be my baby.
